What is the job?
The moment a guest steps into one of our hotels, they walk into a genuinely memorable
experience. As a Front Office Supervisor, you'll lead the team delivering True Hospitality to
anyone walking into the hotel and oversee the daily operations of the Lobby and our team
of Concierge. You'll assist the Duty Managers and Hotel Services Assistant Manager in
supervising the Front Desk when required as well.
Your day to day
- Support the team to meet any needs in the Lobby, ensuring the Lobby is clean and looks
your team
- Train and mentor the team in delivering a memorable experience to guests with a swift
- Resolve guest issues and use their feedback to improve guest satisfaction
- Assist in managing daily staffing needs, plan and assign work and educate and develop
- Contribute to the hotel revenue and promote the hotel's other business such as the
- Ensure your team are aware and understand all relevant policies and procedures
What we need from you
- Passion for the tourism industry and you need to love caring about our guests as much
- A qualification in Hospitality Management or similar is highly regarded
- At least two years' experience in an upscale hotel / equivalent environment as a Guest
- Full driver's license preferred
- Experience with Opera PMS or similar reservations software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
