Project Finance Analyst - Superannuation


A high performing Super Fund are looking for a Finance Analyst to work on the financial management of a major project.

This Finance Analyst will work closely with the Program Director to prepare reports and presentations with the executives and other senior program stakeholders.

It will also support the GM of Finance to ensure financial governance. It acts as the main interface between the Strategic

Delivery, Finance, and Investment Operations teams.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Be the primary point of liaison between the overall program and the delivery streams and the Finance teams for the coordination of portfolio financial activities and resolution of initiativerelated financial issues with the Finance Business Partner.
  • Coordinating inputs from the Delivery Stream leads to support the finance actuals, forecasting and reporting monthly process.
  • Responsible for supporting the Delivery Leads to ensure adherence to all financial, reporting, and other defined initiative governance requirements.
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial presentations and reports, arranging meetings and forums, and additional facilitation support to team members as required.

Required experience, understanding or credentials including:

  • Experienced in project and program financial management
  • At least 3 years post Accounting qualification (CA / CPA) experience
  • Previous exposure to project delivery methodologies (waterfall, agile)
  • Previous exposure to project management disciplines (scheduling, governance & status reporting, risk/issue management, change management, resource management)
  • Experienced communicating to a broad stakeholder base (C-Level through to operational staff)
  • Exceptional MS Office Skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Word)
