Your new opportunity:
In this role you will:
- Provide technical and project leadership to the offhighway engineering team, to design systems and components to meet customer requirements.
- Maintain relationships with key suppliers to provide competitive advantage to Penske, and to support our customers with optimum solutions and response times.
- Maintain internal relationships with sales/project & operational teams through effective communication.
- Drive process improvement and planning skillsets within the engineering team.
- Actively support a technical learning environment within the team.
- Assist with selection & management of suitable suppliers and subcontractors through raising awareness of Penske quality process requirements.
About you:
- Appropriate Engineering or technical qualification
- RPEQ/RPEng highly desirable.
- Team management experience in an engineering environment.
- Experience with 3D CAD packages, with SolidWorks being advantageous.
- Knowledge and experience of Penske products and services is desirable.
- Strong interest, knowledge and experience of powertrains including IC engines, electric drives, high voltage components, transmissions, gensets and associated equipment.
