We are seeking an experienced Victorian State Manager to lead our client's Victorian membership and engagement team, ensuring the achievement of revenue targets, business growth and state service quality.


As the Victorian State Manager, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our membership base, strengthening engagement with existing members, and maximising revenue generation opportunities.

You will work closely with the national team to develop and implement effective strategies to achieve the organisation's goals.


THE COMPANY:

Our client is a National professional membership association representing approximately 8,000 members in Australia. It is a not for profit organisation that prides itself on integrity, courage, service excellence and collaboration.


THE POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive membership growth and engagement, ensuring alignment with the organisation's objectives
  • Identify and capitalise on revenue generation opportunities, including the development of sponsorship and partnership agreements
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, including members, sponsors, and partners
  • Ensure the achievement of revenue targets and expense budgets, regularly reviewing financial reports to identify any issues and opportunities for improvement
  • Manage and lead the Membership and Engagement team, providing direction and support to ensure the delivery of highquality services and initiatives
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to engage members and stakeholders, including the use of digital channels and events

THE PERSON:


  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a leadership role, preferably in a membershipbased organisation or a similar industry
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing strategic plans and achieving revenue targets
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience in managing budgets and financial reports
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with members, sponsors, and partners
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate others
  • Takes responsibility for own actions; and can work under mínimal supervision
