    Duties and Responsibilities:

    We are looking for OT's who's are flexible to work across community home care and NDIS space
    .
    Some regular duties include:

    • Administering OT assessments across our dynamic caseloads.
    • Working in the school, community, and home environments.
    • Provision of therapy which are tailored to NDIS participants to promote best outcomes.
    • Doing Functional Capacity Assessments / Supported Independent Living and Specialist Disability Accommodation assessments.
    • Assistive Technology Assessments for specialised equipment prescription
    • Completing progress notes/documentation
    • Manual Handling training and education
    • Pressure care education and therapy
    • Sensory assessments and sensory integration focused interventions.
    • Opportunity to work in Paediatrics space.
    • Therapy and rehabilitation including capacity building interventions for daily living skills.
    • Falls Prevention
    • Home modifications (minor and complex home modifications)

    We welcome Occupational Therapists interested in enhancing their skills in the NDIS & HC space, as our team includes experienced leaders and supervisors ready to provide support & training in these areas.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Occupational Therapy Bachelors' Degree or equivalent as approved by AHPRA – Full Registration
    • Drivers' license and reliable vehicle
    • Professional indemnity insurance, or willingness to obtain.
    • Valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, or willingness to obtain.
    • 2023 Flu Vaccine Certificate, or willingness to obtain.
    • COVID vaccine certificate, or willingness to obtain.
    • Ability to work independently in a remote team environment.
    • Experience and skills in prescription of equipment and home modifications preferred.
