Description

The Opportunity:

Full Time position
Rotating roster between 5am to 1pm and 1pm to 9pm to support in both AM/PM allocator shifts
Effective coordination of our Linehaul Fleet (including subcontractors) to meet service requirements
Scheduling, allocation, monitoring and review of Linehaul runs ensuring that all deliveries and pickups are completed
Resource planning and forecasting to improve utilization of fleet and improve service to the customer base
Communicating with internal and external customers to build relationships and ensure clarity around Pick Up or Delivery requirements
Manage drivers to ensure compliance with fatigue management and other company policies and procedures
Develop team awareness and compliance of Industry Regulations, Legislation and Health & Safety requirements

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Fleet Controller/Allocator or similar role within the transport industry
Positive "Can Do" attitude with a focus on providing a high level of service
Strong organisational and time management skills
Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire and motivate a team
Highly developed communication skills coupled with a strong emotional intelligence
Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office Suite
