Join Our Team as a People and Culture Consultant


About the role:

Calvary are seeking a dynamic HR professional who is passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture.

You will use your skills to take on the role of People and Culture Consultant, where you'll be the go-to expert for providing advice, coaching, and support to our incredible team of people leaders and employees.


Key Responsibilities:

Provide People and Culture advice and support across Hospitals, Aged Care and Home Care sectors.

Support the People and Culture Manager and other leaders in the development and delivery of P&C projects and initiatives; negotiations and roll out of Enterprise Agreements.

Pro-actively demonstrate and promote physical and psychological safety within the workplace
Manage multiple, portfolios, including case management of performance and disciplinary matters.

Take the lead in managing grievances and disciplinary processes, conducting thorough investigations, and preparing concise briefs and recommendations for consideration and approval.

Offer expert advice on formal performance management processes, guiding and coaching people leaders to enhance employee performance effectively.
Assist with delivering manager training sessions and development coaching as required.
Assist managers and return-to-work coordinators in navigating non-work-related injury and illness cases.
Support employees to understand their workplace right and responsibilities


About you:

Desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
Demonstrated experience working as a generalist HR professional in a large organisation.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain trusted, collaborative and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Strong Analytical skills to lead and undertake workplace investigations and disciplinary processes
Ability to adapt your processes in line with changes to industrial relations laws and industry changes.
Prior experience working in the health care sector will be highly regarded
