Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Compliance Officer to join our team at Diamond Care Victoria.

As a Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all staff members are competent in their roles and that their competency documentation is up to date and in compliance with industry standards.

You will work closely with department managers and staff to implement and maintain competency programs, conduct staff training, evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and provide guidance on compliance matters.


This role is an on-site position, meaning you will be working at Diamond Care Victoria in our Narre Warren office.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Stay uptodate with industry standards for staff competency
  • Implement and maintain staff competency programs and policies
  • Conduct regular staff training, evaluations and assessments to ensure staff competency
  • Conduct regular evaluations and assessments to ensure client compliancy
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on compliance matters
  • Work with department managers to develop and implement corrective actions for identified noncompliances
  • Prepare and submit regular compliance reports to management and relevant regulatory bodies
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to staff competency and compliance

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor of Law degree in a related field (e.g. education, human resources, compliance)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in staff competency and compliance, preferably in a healthcare field
  • Strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards for staff competency
  • Strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards for client compliancy to ensure privacy and safeguarding of documentation
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of staff

Salary:
$70, $80,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

  • Bachelor Degree (required)

  • Compliance officer in a NDIS registered healthcare setting: 2 years (required)
