We are looking for an Event Manager
to join the team in our Sydney CBD office and hit the ground running with the management, support and delivery of incentive programs, corporate and special events. The position sits within the Incentives and Special Events (ISE) business unit and you will be responsible for end-to-end management and support of key accounts and events/incentive programs, including provision of support to the Business Development team with proposal, budget and program development.

To be successful in this role you will ideally meet the following criteria:


_Essential:

Minimum 5 years' experience in Events/Travel Industry
:

Demonstrated project management experience in a travel / DMC / incentives / conferencing and the corporate special events environment
:

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
:

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent listening, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
:

Excellent client relationship management
:

Demonstrated ability to use initiative, communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of an organisation, including executive level

Strong organisational and planning skills with the capacity to manage and prioritise multiple events/ projects at the same time to meet project deadlines

High level of personal and professional presentation

_Desirable _

Tertiary qualifications in Hospitality, Event Management, Travel or other related discipline

Experience using EventsAir, Salesforce or similar events / CRM software

Knowledge of venues, suppliers, and destination products in Australia, Fiji & New Zealand

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

Strong organisational and planning skills

Capacity to manage multiple events/projects at the same time.
