About the Role:


We are currently seeking a
full-time, experienced Administration Officer for our new, state of the art aged care residence based in Singleton that will grow to approximately 180 employees.

This role will be critical in assisting with the preliminary administrative functions of pre-admissions of residents and setting up the home for opening, then be the champion for rostering and ensuring compliance for new employee documentation, orientation and education.

This role is pivotal in the smooth running of the home.

You must be highly organised, comfortable with learning new technology, discrete and able to effectively communicate with a wide range of people including employees, residents and family members.

Experience with rostering will be highly regarded.


Skills and Experience Required:


Essential:


  • Office administration in a fast paced, large environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge and experience in office procedures and working with multiple software packages.
  • Maintenance of confidential records including recruitment documentation
  • Filing and archiving

Desirable:


  • Experience in residential aged care or home care administration.
  • Experience in rostering of large numbers of employees
  • Experience with CCTV, nurse call and software reports
