The Role


Reporting into the Head of Strategy, Governance and Insights, the Risk Governance Consultant role is a newly created role to provide support and ensure the efficient and effective governance of risk.


Your role includes managing and overseeing the Policy Governance Framework to ensure that all policies comply with the Framework and are reviewed in a timely fashion, managing the corporate insurance program for MLC Life Insurance to ensure that our organisation has appropriate corporate insurance coverage and supporting the governance of management committees, including providing secretariat support where required.


About You


You have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a corporate governance role or in a similar capacity, ideally within the financial services sector.

Your experiences enable you to understand the fundamentals and importance of corporate governance, including the governance of risk.


Coupled with your high level of attention to detail and the ability to coordinate, you thrive in working in a fast-paced environment with changing needs and priorities.


Lastly, you possess outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal) which will enable you to interact and work with stakeholders across all areas of the business at different seniority levels.
