Service Coordinator / Scheduler - Automatic Doors

The position

About you
You will need previous experience in a Service Coordinator position.

You will have demonstrated experience in an office-based role where you have scheduled and coordinated field technicians, have an excellent phone manner, be able to pick up new systems easily and have a technical aptitude.


Experience with using simPRO, work scheduling for tradespersons, general experience in administration duties and technical understanding of automatic door industry will be highly regarded.

You will need to be professional, have a positive attitude along with strong cooperation skills and work ethic.


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • First Point of contact for incoming calls from both customers and technicians
  • Assignment of incoming service and project jobs to field technicians.
  • Routinely assessing the daily schedule to ensure breakdowns/scheduled works with higher urgency are attended to.
  • Organise and schedule technicians' workload book planned maintenance, quoted works, oncall rosters and emergency breakdowns
  • Organise subcontractors (work, upgrades, quotes and approving invoices)
  • Liaise with customers regarding expected installation timeframes
  • Archive and document management, ensuring records are accurate
  • Generate purchase orders
  • Administrative duties
