About the Role
We are looking for an electrical and electronics technician to support the manufacture and servicing of Roborigger products as we build and operate our rental Roborigger fleet.
- Responsible for the electrical/electronic integration on new Roborigger builds.
- Troubleshooting problems on remote units that may be caused by electrical, instrumentation or software problems
- Input into design to address simplicity of manufacture and reliability of operation.
- Be a qualified electrician or have a restricted electrical license
- You will have experience with electronic controls such as Canbus controlled equipment and have the ability to diagnose problems with serial communications.
- You will have worked with quality standards as required for the offshore oil and gas or aeronautics or medical industries where work is performed in a consistent and documented manner.
- You must be computer literate and comfortable using a PC to monitor and record data. Linux experience is beneficial.
- You must be able to lead a small team involved in the build process and be able to coordinate with the mechanical discipline and the operations manager to balance the multiple priorities of the business
- You will be passionate about electronics or robotics and demonstrate this outside of the direct work environment. Eg in home projects, hobbies or industry groups.
- You will maintain a high standard of safety by ensuring job safety analysis is done before new tasks are performed and following industry best practice for manual handling, lifting and use of tools.

Where you will be working
The work will be generally located at our modern assembly and service facility in Wangara, WA. The work will also involve visits to sites when supporting the equipment. The majority of these are in capital cities.
Remuneration
We are looking for team members who are keen to support the success of Roborigger. The package will include employee share options after a qualifying period.
About you
You must be a keen learner who has already demonstrated the ability to keep abreast of industry trends and technologies and has achieved self-initiated professional development in the last 2 years.
Salary:
$90, $120,000.00 per year
