About the OPPORTUNITY
We have exciting opportunities for Logistics Analysts to join our Hunter Class Frigate Program based at Osborne SA, reporting to the Senior Logistics Engineering Lead
We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight and hybrid working.

Working in the Design for Support team, the Logistics Analyst will review the current design for the ship at various stages, using the CAD model, and provide feedback to design engineers ensuring that the design meets the requirements for maintainability.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Liaising with system designers you will assist with specialist input into the design and development of solutions to ensure design rules are being adhered to.
  • Undertake tasks in accordance with the Design for Support (DfS) level 3 schedule
  • Assist in the development and continuous improvement of DfS internal processes
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagement and drive down supportability issues within the wider stakeholder community
  • Maintain and update the DfS documentation suite
  • Assist support and design engineers in the review of compartments and routed systems, advising on proposed DfS solutions to design issues
About YOU

  • Tertiary qualification
  • Diploma, formal trade or technical certificate qualification in Engineering and/ or equivalent industry experience
  • Confident user of CAD
  • Experience in Reliability Centred Maintenance, Maintenance Task Analysis or Level of Repair Analysis
  • Demonstrated experience in the technical review and reporting of assessment data relative to the mechanical and/ or electrical health of systems and equipment
  • Experience in the operation and/ or maintenance of those systems in a defence or related technical industry
