The Role & Project
MACA Infrastructure are seeking a

Plant Operator to join our growing team working on a variety of projects across Victoria. The position will be responsible for achieving set targets in a safe and timely manner with the plant they have been assessed as competent in operating.

Responsibilities will include:

Carry out prestart checks to ensure the machine is safe to operate.
Operate plant in an efficient and effective manner in order to achieve the shift production targets.
Report any faults and defects of plant immediately to the Supervisor.
Report all hazards, incidents, near misses and accidents immediately to the Supervisor.
Carry out any other tasks as directed by the Supervisor.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Actively participate and contribute to the continuous improvement and innovation of MACA work practices.

We are looking for:

5+ years' experience in operating equipment, such as Roller, Excavator and Skid Steer.
Current driver's license.
Commitment to safety in the workplace.
Construction white card.
The ability to live away from home.
