You will be assigned assigned to several duties that include- Laying ceramic and porcelain tiles on external and internal walls.
- Using levels, edges, and squares to ensure precise alignment and straightening of tiles, maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.
- Use of tilecutting tools to cut and shape tiles for edges, corners, and around objects such as fittings and pipes.
- Pattern Design: Exercise creativity and design flair to develop new patterns for tile surfaces, enhancing aesthetic appeal and functionality.
- Review example plans, interpret designs and understand design specifications and requirements.
- Gain knowledge of stock in store and knowledge of availability and delivery times for products.
- Estimate costs and expenses for materials.
- Customer service including being able to communicate with customers, supervisors and other tradespeople.
- Answer phones calls and updating customers.
- Documented 3 years tiling experience.
- Prepared to work fulltime.
- Can work independently.
- Knowledgeable, presentable with a 'cando' attitude.
- Current Driving Licence or ability to obtain.
Pay:
$70, $80,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Supplemental pay types:
- Penalty rates
