About the role:


We have an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team leading our approach to the provision of quality care to clients of the Environmental Services Department.

The purpose of the position is to provide an efficient and effective cleaning and waste service for patient, visitor and general public areas.

Selection Criteria:


  • Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent's Health Australia.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of basic cleaning techniques, cleaning chemicals and supplies, the use of equipment and hygiene services.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and work in a tight time frame.
  • Experience in domestic and/or catering services.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team and at independent levels.
  • Ability to prioritise, organise and manage a variety of tasks.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Moving and lifting as required by the Facilities Manager.
