Role Overview
Collaborating closely with the Senior Development Manager, the Development Manager will oversee two significant projects: 'Port Lane,' a townhouse development in Port Melbourne and a master-planned community project in Clyde, integral to the new Clyde South PSP.
The Development Manager will play a pivotal role in guiding these projects from initial planning to successful completion, ensuring they meet ID_Land's high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Lead and manage all aspects of the development lifecycle, including financial aspects, approvals, sales & marketing, construction, landscaping, presentation, and customer service.
- Risk Management: Identify project key risks and implement mitigation strategies while identifying opportunities and strategies to capitalise on them.
- Team Management: Lead and manage a project team of consultants and contractors to ensure the delivery of highquality residential developments within agreed time and budget constraints.
- Financial Oversight: Manage all elements of the project feasibility model, including regular updates and monitoring financial metrics.
- Reporting: Prepare regular project reports for management, joint venture partners, financiers, and other stakeholders to provide insights on development progress and necessary actions.
- Leadership and Guidance: Provide leadership and direction to the Assistant Development Manager, ensuring that all projects are completed within specified timelines and budgets.
