As ID_Land expands its reach across Australia, they are seeking a Development Manager to join their dynamic team.


Role Overview


Collaborating closely with the Senior Development Manager, the Development Manager will oversee two significant projects: 'Port Lane,' a townhouse development in Port Melbourne and a master-planned community project in Clyde, integral to the new Clyde South PSP.


The Development Manager will play a pivotal role in guiding these projects from initial planning to successful completion, ensuring they meet ID_Land's high-quality standards.

Responsibilities encompass working closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to initiate projects, address challenges, and maintain project progress. Additionally, the Development Manager will supervise the Assistant Development Manager and provide regular updates to the Senior Development Manager.


Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage all aspects of the development lifecycle, including financial aspects, approvals, sales & marketing, construction, landscaping, presentation, and customer service.
  • Risk Management: Identify project key risks and implement mitigation strategies while identifying opportunities and strategies to capitalise on them.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a project team of consultants and contractors to ensure the delivery of highquality residential developments within agreed time and budget constraints.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage all elements of the project feasibility model, including regular updates and monitoring financial metrics.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular project reports for management, joint venture partners, financiers, and other stakeholders to provide insights on development progress and necessary actions.
  • Leadership and Guidance: Provide leadership and direction to the Assistant Development Manager, ensuring that all projects are completed within specified timelines and budgets.
