The Role
We are currently looking for a highly skilled and experienced
Mine Site Maintenance Superintendent to join our dynamic team. As part of this role, you will oversee and manage all aspects of our crushing operations, playing a crucial part in ensuring safe and efficient mining activities while upholding top-notch quality and environmental standards.

Roster: 2 weeks on, 1 week off
Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise a team of mining professionals, including shift supervisors and crew members, to achieve operational excellence.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders for effective collaboration and successful project outcomes.
Oversee control room operations to ensure seamless coordination and communication among different departments.
Ensure compliance with statutory and corporate obligations concerning Safety, Health, Quality, and Environment.
Establish and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment.
Assess the performance of day shift crew members and supervisors, offering guidance and support as required.
Identify opportunities for process enhancement and implement strategies to boost operational efficiency and productivity.
Work with crossfunctional teams to develop and implement mining plans, schedules, and budgets.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify adherence to safety standards and regulatory mandates.
Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements to drive innovation in mining operations.

Requirements:

At least 10 years of supervisory experience in mining or a related field, with a minimum of 1 year as a Superintendent.
Relevant trade qualifications (mechanical, boilermaker, or electrical)
Demonstrated success in managing multidisciplinary teams.
Extensive technical knowledge and experience in overseeing complex projects.
Thorough understanding of mining operations, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire a diverse workforce.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with various stakeholders.
Strong decisionmaking and problemsolving skills to tackle operational challenges.
Proven dedication to safety and promoting a culture of safety within the organization.
Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
