About Us

Utilising financial, economic and commercial analysis, you'll support clients in their strategic decision-making throughout the deal cycle from target identification, acquisition, asset optimisation, and future sell downs.

You also will have the opportunity to work with energy networks and utility businesses as they navigate Australia's complex and dynamic energy transition and adjacent sectors such as hydrogen, carbon and waste.

You will be contributing to driving meaningful change for our clients and, in turn, helping facilitate investment for advancing sustainability targets across Australia.

About the Opportunity
In the Energy Transition MACRE team, you'll find yourself in a culture that values wellbeing and working together.

You'll solve problems like helping our clients execute buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions or strategic advice on current energy trends.

You'll use your skills in problem-solving, data analytics, and financial modelling to make an impact across various industries. Along the way, you'll build relationships and skills to set you up for a lifetime of success.

What will a normal day look like? Well, you can count on that every day you will:

Assess emerging technologies, new entrants and industry trends and understand how these affect market structures
Learn, grow and better understand how businesses and renewable energy assets operate, taking a holistic approach as you understand the key financial drivers of business and asset value.
Contribute to the design and production of proposals, presentations and investment papers for our clients

As a graduate in Energy Transition MACRE, the top three skills you'll need to hit the ground running are:

A degree in Commerce (ideally Finance), Engineering, Economics, Science, Mathematics or Law
Interested in Energy Transition and Sustainability
Strong written and verbal communication
