Your role

You'll be a part of our Talent & Capability Team based in any of our offices across Australia.

As a Learning & Development (L&D) Consultant you will:

  • Plan, schedule and project manage L&D projects and programs across the firm, ensuring the successful deployment of the programs for cohorts.
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of modules for our programs and other initiatives that support the L&D strategy.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of programs and implement continuous improvement and evolution of any program design.
  • Build strong and trusted business relationships with key stakeholders across the Firm and with external vendors.


This is a full time, 12-month fixed term contract opportunity however, flexibility matters at Allens and if you are seeking hybrid working or are looking for flexibility in your work, we would be happy to discuss what arrangements would work best for you.


About you

You will have:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and initiatives from inception to implementation.
  • Experience in designing and facilitating training / development workshops.
  • Strong project management skills and an ability to coordinate (often discreet) projects.
  • Problem solving skills and a general curiosity in supporting our people to learn and grow.
  • Demonstrated skills in dealing confidently and courteously with people at all levels of an organisation.
  • Welldeveloped written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and within a high performing team.
  • Willingness to adapt and foster a continuous learning mindset.
  • Knowledge of human centred design and a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment is an advantage.
  • A desire to learn, grow, network, mentor others.
