POSITION
An Account Manager position has now become available due to increased customer demand throughout Victoria.


You will be joining a well-established VIC team and will be the key account holder for some of the state's largest food customers.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain a portfolio of Key Customers both metro and regionally based.
  • Regularly visit QA Managers, Contract Cleaners & Operations staff onsite.
  • Provide consultative support surrounding their current cleaning and hygiene practices.
  • Encourage customer adoption of additional services.
  • Regularly service and maintain chemical dispensing units on offsite premises.
  • Deal directly with customers to recommend upgrades or changes to their current plant.
  • Carry out chemical cleaning to a range of designated sites.
  • Visit multiple sites to deliver chemicals and equipment.
  • Produce timely and detailed service reports.
  • Establishing and maintaining relevant servicerelated information.
Due to the nature of the food manufacturing and processing industry, site visits will often occur after hours. Any hours worked outside of standard working hours will be given as time in lieu.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
To be considered for this position it is vital that you have the below experience:

  • Minimum 2+ years in the cleaning & hygiene, food manufacturing or processing or industrial cleaning industry.
  • Hands on experience working onsite and with customers.
  • Working knowledge of cleaning protocols & procedures.
  • A high level of customer service skills.
  • Capacity to work completely autonomously.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Although not necessary, the following attributes would also be advantageous:

  • Knowledge of Cleaning in Place (CIP) systems
  • A degree of mechanical aptitude and advanced problem solving capabilities
