The

purpose of this role is to manage and grow a portfolio of corporate clients, advising on a range of Financial Lines products including:

  • Maintaining and developing business relationships with new and existing clients
  • Opportunity to handle the full suite of financial lines products, to a diverse client base from ASX listed to financial institutions clientele
  • Describing insurable risk, designing bespoke insurance solutions and negotiating the best deal in the global insurance market
  • Developing and maintaining meaningful working relationships with our underwriting partners
  • Managing and maintenance of budget, business plan and debtors
  • Active mentoring of team members
  • Building a long term pipeline to support New Business growth
  • Promoting the Gallagher brand within the local business community

This is a great opportunity and to be considered, we are seeking a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, ideally with exposure to the Insurance (Financial Lines are) plus:

  • Strong account management experience gained within corporate broking
  • Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification
  • Proactive approach to all aspects of account management and service delivery
  • Highly developed communication and negotiation skills
  • Driven and professional disposition with a willingness to contribute to a team environment
