Lime Recruitment is currently working with a Queensland government department to recruit a Change & Communications Analyst contract to 30/06/2024 with possible extension based in the Brisbane CBD and working from home.


The Change & Communications Analyst is responsible for planning and executing clear, timely and effective change and communication strategies and plans necessary to achieve business transformation objectives, benefits, and desired business readiness outcomes.


In this role you will:


  • Proven experience in the documentation, implementation, and evaluation of business change on a program/project(s) within a large and complex public sector organisation.
  • Proven experience leading the design and tactical delivery of change and communication management activities.
  • Proven stakeholder relationship management skills to support effective business change, including the ability to influence key stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute change and communication management plans and targeted internal communications to ensure stakeholders impacts and staff concerns are managed.
  • Collaborate with change and project teams on the planning, design, and implementation of the business future state.
  • Deliver specific communication plans and artefacts to manage the needs of a portfolio of stakeholders.
  • Support the Program leadership team with the coordination and delivery of internal and external communication.
  • Collaborate with Program team members on planning, design and crafting of communications collateral.
  • Ensure the development of staff communication collateral meets the program change and communication plans and supports project implementation plans.
  • Responsible for supporting the development of key change management & communication deliverables such as:
  • Change management plans and schedules
  • Stakeholder change and impact assessments
  • Stakeholder engagement and communication plans
  • Development and delivery of supporting communication / change management artefacts Development of instructional and educational artefacts

You will have:


  • Proficient knowledge of change management practices and deliverables.
  • Ability to assess business impacts and prepare supporting change and communication materials.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to provide advice to project team members about appropriate communication tactics and products.
  • The ability to produce high quality written documentation, visual digital deliverables (e.g. Vision 6; SharePoint; PowerPoint, Web content).
  • Good problemsolving skills that support the ability to adapt and operate in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Building positive working relationships at all levels in the organisation.
  • Proven ability to work independently, under broad direction and against established priorities, practices, and methodologies to deliver quality outcomes
  • PROSCI certification in the ADKAR methodology or equivalent change management qualification.
  • Communications business degree or equivalent tertiary qualification.
  • Proficient in the use of Vision 6 and Articulate 360.
  • Proficient in working with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and Microsoft Office products.
  • Working knowledge of Atlassian products
  • Jira and Confluence.
  • Practical experience with delivering in a Prince 2 and Agile program and project environment with the associated management practices and deliverables.
  • Understanding of program and project communication and engagement principles.
  • Facilitation skills.
