About the role

The Manager for Retail Decision System role is critical to making this happen and will:
Work within in a high performing team developing and implementing solutions around Risk decision systems

Ensure that decision systems are operational and fit for purpose

Exercise oversight of strategy testing by the Retail Risk business

Engage with Technology in the deployment of Risk strategy changes

Work with project teams outside of Risk wanting to use Risk infrastructure


Be ahead of the curve and business case future technological requirements from hard technology such as systems to soft technology such as data warehouse enhancements.


Role Location: 839 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008


Role Type:
Fixed-term/Secondment (12 months); full-time

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
A successful track record in Credit Risk Management (i.e. experience in credit risk and risk systems)

Strong analytical & system configuration skills with proven experience in system configuration & software development lifecycle.


Good working knowledge of the following: PowerCurve Originations, PowerCurve Strategy Manager, SQL and data warehouse systems.

Proven ability to be able to make Business rule and strategy changes in decisioning systems.

Understanding of scorecard/model development and other assessment systems


Effective people and project management (Agile Methodology) skills - with the ability to motivate and guide members of a squad.

Ability to maintain high standards of accuracy and work under pressure to achieve deadlines.

Good commercial business acumen.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong capabilities to articulate complex analytical information. Strong facilitation and negotiation skills

You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
