The Swinburne Vocational Education Teacher is tasked with motivating, captivating, and instructing our students to prepare them effectively for the demands of the 21st century.

Specifically, the Casual Teacher - Diploma of Justice will integrate cutting-edge industry standards, utilise modern learning technologies, and employ up-to-date teaching methodologies to instil inspiration in aspiring educators.

Collaborating within a team of education experts, they will deliver, assess, evaluate, and uphold the standards of top-tier educational programs, ensuring compliance and fostering high-quality learning experiences.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Vocational experience relevant to the nominated teaching programs
  • Demonstrated ability to implement high quality innovative teaching and learning programs in a variety of learning needs.
  • Demonstrated willingness to be a role model for teaching/assessing/building positive relationships with students
  • Demonstrated ability to identify own learning needs and obtain support for professional development to be able to perform as a Vocational Education teacher of the 21st century

Qualifications

  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor or
  • TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus the following units:
  • TAELLN411 (or its successor) or TAELLN401A, and
  • TAEASS502 (or its successor) or TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B
  • Relevant vocational qualification or degree in vocational areas applicable to Vocational Education programs
  • AQF5 level (or above) Qualification in Education
