Business Payment Solutions (BPS) supports the Transaction Banking needs of the Commonwealth Bank of Australia's Business Banking customers.
Your Team
The Transaction Banking Implementation team plays a critical role in ensuring the financial wellbeing of business customers and communities.
Our team of Transaction Banking Associates work closely with Relationship Executives, Account Managers and Transaction Banking Specialist to meet the transaction banking product establishment needs of Business Banking customers.

Your Impact & Contribution
Reporting to the Senior Manager Transaction Banking Centre of Excellence, the role supports the transaction banking needs of CBA's business customers.
Our team are based in Sydney but we do support workplace flexibility with options to work from home after you have completed training and 6 months probation.
Your responsibilities
- Work in partnership with BPS Leadership Team to design and deliver the BPS strategic agenda and deliver against CBA and Business Banking Strategic Objectives
- Lead a team of high performing associates to support the transaction banking needs of Business Bank customers across Australia
- Support day to day business operations through workflow allocation, reporting and maintenance activities
- Ensure defined processes are followed and opportunities to improve the customer experience and groups risk position are raised and executed in a timely way
- Develop and maintain professional relationships in support of team goals and objectives
- Proactively assist associates to achieve desired development and career aspirations, and service and sales outcomes
- Support your Senior Manager and Executive Manager with special projects as required
Your Experience/ Skills Required
- A passion for customer service and people development with a focus on innovation and solutions focused thinking
- Strong transaction banking origination and maintenance experience
- Strong understanding of the transaction banking service offering, customer journey and risk framework
- Advanced influencing and consulting skills, the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Prior leadership experience in a similar role with a passion for capability development and continuous improvement (highly regarded)
- Advanced communication, negotiation and influencing skills
- Advanced organisational and time management skills
- Sound understanding of Operational Risk Framework and control environment

- Previous experience in a similar role (highly regarded)
