What the opportunity looks like

  • Owning the current and future direction of the Social Agency arm of the LADbible Australia sales team. You will own the success of this part of the sales team and will provide recommendations on driving growth and change.
  • Taking the LADbible Australia social agency product suite to market, working with our agency sales team to identify and explore potential clients
  • Create and develop a list of key target clients which you can develop and build into new and longterm business
  • Working with the broader team to create B2B materials that will assist in taking the social agency product suite to market including case studies, pitch decks and video highlights
  • Review all current B2B assets of social agency and provide recommendations on changes and developments to improve the perception in market
  • Identify, develop and lead the pitch process for new client social media accounts when live in market
  • Work closely with the Head of Specialists to maximise the revenue opportunity to meet and exceed targets and objectives
  • Work closely with current agency sales team to identify incremental revenue opportunities, provide strategic direction and support for current social agency clients
  • Provide strategic social media and content expertise for large out of scope briefs from current social agency clients
  • Identify opportunities to provide inspiration, knowledge share, industry updates and advice for key client teams and contacts
  • Maximise coverage across potential clients and build relationships with all key departments including the broader sales team, creative & strategy, content, social, planning and buying across multiple disciplines e.g. social, mobile and digital
  • Work alongside our industry leading UK based internal teams (Data Science, Marketing and Editorial etc.) to create and deliver pitches to potential clients to obtain new business opportunities
  • Fully manage the social agency sales process working with the appropriate sales team member(s)
  • Respond to briefs effectively and in a timely way, ensuring all criteria is delivered on
  • Proactively build out new & targeted commercial opportunities to take to market inline with the appropriate sales team member(s)
  • Continually present new and innovative ideas

Skills and experience we'd like you to have

  • Previous experience working within a sales role at Account Director or above level
  • Have experience of working with media/social agencies with experience of both digital and social content platforms
  • Have experience in selling retainerbased or longerterm commercial products
  • Previous experience in pitching for new business
  • Demonstrate that you can sell to agencies (including proven relationships) and clients in the media space
  • Previous experience leading strategic development work with brands and/or clients
  • Previous experience working across strategic projects around social media strategy, content and brand development
  • Have excellent negotiation skills to ensure maximum revenue from a client
  • Understand the world of digital and use of social channels e.g. Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Youtube, Twitter and Snapchat
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of the process of brands putting their social media up for pitch
  • Show an aptitude to learn in a fast moving digital and social space with complex products
  • Be prepared to put the time in and be happy working under pressure and to tight deadlines, relish seeing this time and focus convert to sales and revenue
  • Be genuinely passionate about the LADbible brand
