About the Role
We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who has a deep understanding of the IT Managed Services sector and specialist IT recruitment combined with experience of working as an HRIS Analyst for resolving technical issues & enabling system enhancements for the Recruiting module


Reporting to the Manager Talent Acquisition, you'll be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment of a high volume of open positions as well as providing expertise, guidance, and support on recruitment best practice to the Hiring Managers.


The Talent Acquisition team at Canon is responsible for every aspect of the recruitment process from sourcing to offer and through to on-boarding within this fast-paced business and the Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a key role in supporting the delivery of the people plan to realise business objectives and works closely with hiring managers to source and select the best talent for our business.


The scope of the role includes:


  • Talent Acquisition
  • Lead endtoend internal and external recruitment activities across Australia
  • Help build and implement innovative sourcing strategies that help improve the way we acquire the talent in our organisation;
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their talent requirements, business models and strategic priorities;
  • Collaborate crossculturally with key agency support when needed, as well as relevant professional industry groups and associations.
  • Work on various recruitment projects to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Talent Acquisition function.
  • Administering all necessary preemployment checks ensuring compliance with policy

Systems Interface

  • Working with HRIS Analyst for resolving technical issues & enabling system enhancements for Recruiting module
  • Deriving complex reports from system for presenting analytics & meaningful insights

About you


You are a passionate talent acquisition specialist who enjoys the challenge of recruiting in a corporate environment, you must have experience in an internal recruitment role and a deep knowledge of the MSP sector in Australia across multiple job families, including specialist IT roles.

You must have a proven track record in sourcing technical roles via proactive and direct sourcing channels.

You are an excellent communicator with well-developed consulting and influencing skills.

You have great attention to detail, and you know how to multi task and manage complex, time-dependent deliverables in a fast-paced high volume environment.

Your experience with a broad range of recruitment tools, including SAP SuccessFactors will be key.

You must have experience of resolving technical issues & enabling system enhancements for the Recruiting module coupled with a track record in deriving complex reports from SuccessFactors for presenting analytics & meaningful insights.

You also have a demonstrated ability to engage with a range of internal and external stakeholders including GM level and above and deliver great recruitment outcomes.
