Public Sector People are working with a local council in the south suburbs of Brisbane (LOGAN) to recruit
MULTIPLE Box Office Staff members for ongoing causal work, working at events within the Logan area.
The purpose of the Box Office Attendant is to assist in the efficient operations of the Box Office at various event locations as required, by providing a high level of customer service to customers making box office enquires including information on upcoming shows and ticket sales (phone & counter).
This position also supports the Ticketing Officer in general ticketing operations including ticketing build, database management and show day support.

Responsibilities will include:
- Process phone and counter ticket sales with accuracy, efficiency, and a focus on customer service.
- As the first point of contact for our visitors.
- Responsible for the end of day cash draw takings and reconciliation of daily ticketing reports.
- Comply with the cash handling procedures at all times
- Undertake administrative duties including ticket printing, ticket filing, processing exchanges, refunds, gift vouchers and any other administrative tasks as required.
- Actively engage with customers and assist with the collation of customer feedback, to identify areas of improvement.
- Support positive and productive relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Contribute user knowledge and experience to the ongoing improvement of service delivery, systems, and processes, and report potential improvements to the Supervisor.
- Assist in the Administration Department with adhoc tasks as required.
- Any other related duties as requested by the Ticketing Officer.
About you:
- You have experienced working within Hospitality and Customer service roles.
- Knowledge of the Arts, Entertainment and Culture Industry, from a box office, administration, and customer service perspective.
- Previous Ticketing Outlet or Box Office experience would be an advantage.
- Previous administration and customer service experience, including cash handling and processing financial transactions.
- Strong attention to detail and welldeveloped analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the capacity to engage successfully with a diverse client and patron base while providing high quality customer service.
- You have a Current RSA (not mandatory but will be required to obtain before your first shift)
