Introduction:


Due to the TRT restructure of TRTs business development team and our Relocation of our Global HQ to Clark Global City in Pampanga Philippines, we are recruiting for a Cloud Service Category Manager to devise, implement, and manage TRT's sales and marketing efforts globally.


The successful applicant would have a proven track record in building and delivering on a sales marketing model which efficiently and effectively drives sales for cloud solutions.

This is a high-profile position within TRT's Shared Services Organization, reporting to Director of Business Development.

The successful applicant can come from anywhere in the world but will be required to relocated to Clark Global City Pampanga Philippines.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Utilize networking and prospecting skills to generate leads and identify strategic solutionbased sales opportunities
  • Develop and manage highvalue relationships with key stakeholders
  • Provide leadership and guidance to other team members on enterprise accounts and participate in providing input on sales and marketing collateral
  • Partner with the Business Contracts Manager on contract negotiations
  • Achieve/exceed sales goals, sustain revenue growth and provide recommendations to enhance account growth and revenue potential
  • Preparation and execution of strategic account plans, status reports, sales and revenue forecasting and quota attainment
  • Develop strategic plans based on industry trending and customer analysis
  • Work closely with the Solutions Engineering Team in delivering and ensuring customers are gaining high value from their investments
  • Manage sales lifecycle for all existing and prospective accounts
  • Work closely with the Solutions Engineer team in delivering and ensuring customers are gaining high value from their investments
  • Expand the existing Account Management Function by ensuring a high level of business benefits awareness and new business development
  • Build up strong relationships with key senior staff members across existing and new clients
  • Weekly monitoring and reporting on the sales Managed Services pipeline
  • Assist and contribute in meetings with Solutions Management to contribute new product initiatives
  • Maintain and expand an in depth understanding of the cloud market, managed services, BPO, and industry trends
  • Lead virtual teams consisting of Technical Experts, Pre-Sales, Service Delivery, IT Security, Actuarial Services, Finance as part of deal pursuits

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of direct experience in procuring and managing Technology sourcing at a technology company
  • 3+ years of direct experience in sourcing/procurement of Public Cloud/IaaS/PaaS/Managed Hosting sourcing
  • Experience within or working with toptier companies in the respective categories and an understanding of their offerings, differentiator and pricing (Azure, AWS, SoftLayer, Google, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of cost levers across providers (RIs, Spot Instances etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree from reputable 4year university or equivalent work experience.
  • Deep knowledge of the sourcing process and competitive bidding process: interfacing with clients, analyzing responses, developing selection criteria, and choosing appropriate suppliers (RFP, RFI, RFQ).
  • Ability to manage performance to contracts and agreements.
  • Ability to explain requirements contained in agreements. Knowledge of the types of agreements and the appropriate usage under various customer
  • Must demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and appropriate dissemination of sensitive and confidential information.
  • Strong conceptual and analytical thinking
  • Excellent communications skills and followup discipline
  • Proven negotiation skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to ever changing business situations
