About the Role

The Aviation Team in Fire & Incident Operations is currently seeking to appoint a
Project Officer to support the coordination of agency aviation resources.

The Aviation Team is a collaborative team that works across a range of complex programs that contribute to aviation safety and operational efficiency, procurement, communication and coordination of aviation policy and procedures, and provision of advocacy on behalf of the agency to intra and inter agency groups.


This is a diverse role, providing project and contract management support services, undertaking analysis and review of processes, policies and procedures as well as coordinating aviation related information and communications.


About You
As a Project Officer you are adept at managing competing priorities and working collaboratively with inter-connected teams.

Ideally, you have exposure to high-volume work within a large complex organisation or similar and have a passion for achieving outcomes in a changing and diverse work environment.


Essential Requirements

  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent relevant working experience in project management.
  • Experience in development and delivery of projects, including the development of project plans, monitoring of project timelines, budgets and reporting requirements, and contract administration.
