We have a leadership opportunity for a
Business Group Leader in Project Management to lead our Tasmanian team of 24 project professionals.

Our Project Management group encompass the full project lifecycle and delivery services in program and project management, contract administration, design management and project controls to a diversity of markets, including defence, transport, industry, health and major infrastructure projects.

Their thinking extends beyond the project management golden triangle of time, cost and quality and instead uses industry-leading approaches to drive more innovative and efficient ways to bring greater value and benefits to projects for our clients.

Reporting to the Operations Manager and working with Market Leaders, as well as across the local multi-disciplinary leadership group and broader national network, this diverse position is your opportunity to lead a passionate, accomplished team within a global consultancy and will see you:

Lead, manage and grow our dynamic PM business
Develop and achieve our business plan objectives and targets aligned with our Make It Real strategy
Establish and maintain effective, productive relationships with a diverse range of sectors and clients and across GHD
Build a strong business development and winning work culture, with effective positioning and pursuit of large and strategic opportunities and expanding GHD's presence and market share.
Lead the technical and commercial direction on significant projects, identifying and creating business opportunities and effectively managing risks.
Drive an inclusive, diverse and safe culture throughout your group.

What would you bring to the team?

Ideally you will be an experienced project management professional able to manage complex projects and programs, with relevant tertiary qualifications and a strong background within a consulting environment.

You will have a proven track record in business development with a history of forging strong client relationships, with the ability to identify strategic opportunities in new markets.

You will have experience providing innovative, high end project management and contract management services for a range of clients.

In addition, you will possess the ability to lead, mentor, inspire and develop a talented team of professionals to deliver exceptional results to our clients.
