CSSD Instrument Technician
- 24 hour / 7 days per week rotating roster
- Part time and full time positions available
- Rotate through all areas of the Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD)
- RMH are seeks an experienced Instrument technician who has completed Certificate III or IV in Sterilisation, to work a busy trauma hospital. Our department is 24hours, 7 days per week rotating roster, and also processes for other hospitals including Peter Mac, and other

- We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our CSSD team, in both part time and full time positions.
Your Opportunity:
- Collect, clean and decontaminate reusable and semicritical medical equipment used by the operating suite and clinical units, on a daily basis.
- Load and unload ultrasonic instrument washers, dryers and sterilisers according to instructions.
- Work cooperatively within the team to ensure the needs of our patients and their families and carers are met in accordance with the The Royal Melbourne Hospital values
About You:
- Hold Certificate III or IV in Sterilisation
- Minimum of 3 months experience as an Instrument Technician
- Posses a sound knowledge of AS 4187. Ensuring that clinical practice is evidence based and responsive to stakeholder requirements
