About the role
This is a
permanent,
full-time, Monday to Friday 7.00am to 3.00pm position working
35 hours per week. Located at the Nowra Administration Building.

Duties
Reporting directly to the Development Engineer, the focus of this position is to:

Carry out site inspections for road and drainage works and landscaping undertaken by contractors for subdivisions and developments within the City of Shoalhaven.
Generate internal correspondence relating to works, memos, release of bond monies.
Maintain accurate progress records of subdivision and development civil works.
Communicate in writing, verbally and facetoface with contractors, consultants and owners of developments where necessary.

Skills & Experience
In order to be successful in the position, you will be/ possess:

Certificate IV in Civil Construction, or equivalent qualification or experience
Current SafeWork NSW white card (general construction induction card)
Current SafeWork NSW Prepare a work zone traffic management plan (PWZ) card (or willingness to obtain)
Extensive experience in construction of civil construction including road and stormwater drainage works
Class C Driver's Licence
Confined Spaces Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Proof of Australian residency or citizenship, or authority to work in Australia (visa)
