Who are we looking for?


Queensland University of Technology (QUT) is seeking a Scholarship Support Officer (2 positions available) to join Student Administration, Student Services and Wellbeing, Administrative Division.


The Scholarships Support Officer will support the Scholarships Manager with the centralisation of administrative activities and will contribute to university scholarship strategies.

Provide high quality, efficient and high-volume scholarship administrative support to maintain excellence in client service.


Administer centralised scholarship processes, including:

  • Respond to student enquiries and provide advice and assistance to Faculties and Divisions on scholarships policy and process.
  • Assist with scholarship promotion activities and events, for example, TSXPO and QUT Open Day.
  • Maintaining scholarship resources across various platforms, including the Digital Workplace, SharePoint, WIKI and the Partnership and Engagement Portal.

What you need to succeed


Your expertise and initiative, combined with your ability to work as an excellent team player will be vital to your success in this role.


You will demonstrate:

  • Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to the completion of a degree, or completion of an associate diploma in conjunction with relevant work related experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide highquality client service in a complex and highworkload environment.
  • Demonstrated strong organisational and time management skills including the ability to prioritise work, work with accuracy and manage competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing needs.
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to use technology, such as student management systems and the MS Office Suite.
