About the Role

Reporting to Facilities Management Lead, this is a pivotal role within the Service Delivery Portfolio.

As the Facilities Management Officer you will be responsible for:

Providing building maintenance and office amenity facilitation and support to enable the effective and efficient operation of Melbourne Water occupied leased buildings.


  • Coordinating building maintenance activities with landlords or managing agents to ensure building performance and services meet standards.
  • Provide strong customer service and manage daytoday requests for office facilities and accommodation services.
  • Coordinating Essential Safety Measures (ESM) compliance activities
  • Coordinating office and kitchen consumables to maintain amenities standards.
  • Supporting projectrelated tasks and provide general administration assistance to the Facilities Management team.
  • Help to foster a culture of Health, Safety & Wellbeing.
  • A valid Driver's Licence is required as this role requires occasional travel.

About you:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills to deal with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A selfmotivator with the ability to work autonomously with mínimal supervision.
  • Understanding of building maintenance and customer service outcomes and timeframes.
  • Display great organisational skills to meet tight deadlines and a high level of attention to detail.
This is a full-time role, that will be primarily based at 990 La Trobe St, Docklands.
