The successful Deputy Chief Finance Officer and Executive Director, Financial Services, will ideally;
- possess transformational leadership and change management skills;
- possess a CPA or above (for Australia);
- motivate, encourage and inspire your team to deliver innovative change in an evolving workplace;
- have a record of success as a transformational and change management leader in a large and complex organisation with outstanding leadership ability;
- have extensive experience across the public, private and/or not for profit sector and you will have a strong background in strategy and policy implementation, service delivery, costing and commercial pricing strategies and client service and relationship management;
- have a proven track record as an agent of change in challenging environments and in fostering a confident and capable workforce.

As an Executive you will work towards a system of world class service delivery and public sector management.

As a senior executive leader your performance will be assessed according to four key accountability perspectives: financial, stakeholder and outcome, internal business, and learning and growth.

As a leader in Queensland Government, you will display outstanding judgement, high-level integrity, strong agility to adapt to a constantly changing environment, a strong achievement orientation, and excellent communication and negotiation skills.

The Deputy Chief Finance Officer and Executive Director, Financial Services reports to the Assistant Director-General, Finance, Procurement and Facilities who is also the department's Chief Finance Officer.
