What's the role?

The Australian Business Network is looking for a Digital Producer with strong writing and organisational skills who is passionate about creating engaging stories to reach targeted audiences.

The role includes working closely with the digital editorial team to build, optimise and publish daily digital content, including web stories, newsletters, and live blog content.

You will also be able to identify reader trends and behaviour to ensure stories resonate with a national business audience.

You are a people person who enjoys collaborating with a team, and also a self-starter who can take initiative. Experience in business journalism and a high level of expertise in digital publishing is ideal.

  • Provide accurate and timely coverage of breaking news, features and digitalfirst content
  • Work with Digital Editor and producers to optimise existing content in accordance with SEO best practices to hit referral and traffic KPIs across several websites
