The Role

Starting as soon as possible, we have a permanent opportunity available for an Injury Management Advisor to join our multidisciplinary Compulsory Third Party (CTP) team.

This role incorporates use of your medical knowledge and clinical experience to optimise health outcomes for customers. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are required to build relationships with stakeholders, allied health professionals and injured parties.


Key Responsibilities

  • Key point of contact to CTP Claims Consultants and relevant stakeholders regarding assessment of claims.
  • Ensure high quality and costeffective services are being delivered.
  • Develop, maintain and improve key injury management strategies as required.
  • Systematically investigate and study medical information in order to establish facts and deliver strategic advice about medical issues/topics in alignment with the claims segmentation model.
  • Establish, manage and maintain relationships with all key stakeholders including service providers and rehabilitation providers.
  • Implementation and guidance of early intervention strategies with injured persons to support return to work, activities of daily living

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in medical, health or allied health disciplines. within the Rehabilitation, Psychology, Legal, Social work or Allied Health/Health Science disciplines
  • Attention to detail and sound decision making within legislative frameworks
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communications skills Ideally 3+ years clinical experience.
  • Previous CTP or related insurance experience (e.g. Workers Compensation, Life, Trauma, Disability) is not essential but desirable.
  • Demonstrated delivery of medical/clinical strategies.
  • Exceptional relationship management, verbal and written communication skills.
