POSITION OVERVIEW


The People and Culture (P&C) Division is responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational implementation of human resource strategies relating to a diverse range of human resource and industrial relations functions across CHS.


Working closely with CHS divisions, the P&C Division portfolio delivers strategically aligned workforce solutions in areas including change management, diversity, and inclusion, learning and development, industrial and employee relations, pay and benefits, rewards, and recruitment.


The Division also plans, designs, communicates and monitors CHS's Workforce Strategy with a focus on building organisation and change management capability, and providing workforce data to support strategic decision-making to enable CHS to deliver on its strategic agenda.

Quality expert advice and support is provided through the P&C integrated teams.


The P&C Executive team is responsible for the strategic and operational management of the P&C Division, ensuring the effective and efficient operation of strategic people management advice, policy, and programs across CHS.


As the Executive Officer to the Executive Group Manager, P&C, you will be responsible for the provision of high level confidential secretarial, administrative, and project-based support that contributes to the division achieving its business goals and deliverables.

This role requires a self-motivated, detail orientated person with strong time management and effective organisational skills, with the ability to think laterally, work under pressure and achieve work deadlines in an environment of competing priorities.

Position Requirements/Qualifications:


  • Desirable Diploma or Certificate IV in Business Administration.
  • Ability to use SharePoint and TRIM (HP Content Manger).
  • Have an understanding of how the National Standards and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) indicators align with this role.
  • Fulfil the responsibilities of this role as detailed in the CHS Exceptional Care Framework, Clinical Governance Framework, Partnering With Consumers Framework and all other related frameworks.
  • Undergo a preemployment National Police Check.
