The Team Leader Children's Services will provide leadership and guidance to early years staff, including fostering an environment that promotes staff participation, innovation, productivity, and efficiency.

This role is responsible for the coordination of a viable suite of services for families and children which are flexible and responsive to the identified needs and trends of the community.


You will use your passion and drive for inclusivity to support, work with and advocate for vulnerable children and families and provide expert knowledge on contributors and effects of vulnerability on children and best practices to increase participation of vulnerable and CALD children in early childhood education and services.


Applicants must have excellent relationship building skills, a strong knowledge of best practice and legislative requirements in the early years sector.

Your genuine desire to raise the well-being of local children, young people and families, experience managing Early Childhood Services, and a good understanding of the key challenges and opportunities within the sector will be highly valued.


Collaboration and creativity within a team environment is required to explore new initiatives and opportunities to actively increase the profile of children as valued and equal members of the Maroondah community.
