Powerlink Machine is a leading name in global energy production, and we pride ourselves on producing quality energy equipment to a wide range of industries.

As a manufacturer, we design, produce and distribute diesel and gas generators, air compressors, lighting towers, as well as providing sales, after-sales and warranty support.


The Role


An opportunity has come up for two talented individuals to join our vibrant sales team, facilitating in sales in either our Diesel Generator or Air Compressor + Gas Generator series of products.

Established networks in the Diesel Generator sector years) or in Air Compressor & Gas Generator sector (5+ years) are mandatory for this role _

The roles may necessitate regular travel to meet with clients, as well as to our other locations within Australia.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in building sales, including liaising with new and existing distributors and negotiating deals
  • Action enquiries from their relevant sector in a timely fashion, as well as be able to 'close' such enquiries
  • Assist the director with project meetings, monitor the performance of contractors and prepare various reports as directed
  • Review stock levels of generators and ensure that any sales and dispatch correspond with such stock levels, coordinate with other Sales team members to ensure critical deadlines are met
  • Liaise with Logistics and Sales Administration team members to facilitate stock coming into and dispatching from the warehouse
  • Other duties assigned by managers from time to time

Key Competencies

The following competencies will be highly regarded:

  • The ability to undertake multiple tasks with a minimum level of direct supervision
  • The ability to analyse and plan to account for any changes in the Market and be able to coherently convey such plans/analysis to the Sales Director and senior staff
  • A keen attention to detail to be able to action changes as and when they occur
  • The ability to work in a team, both within Sales and with other Powerlink departments


We also provide company lunches every Tuesday as well as casual Fridays, in addition to functions throughout the year for events such as staff birthdays, Easter, Melbourne Cup and Christmas.

Salary:
From $75,000.00 per year


Schedule:
