The State Government is investing in technical colleges that will set the standard for excellence in their design, learning environment and delivery of skills-based training for school-enrolled students.

Colocated with Findon High School, Findon Technical College will be the first South Australian Technical College to open in 2024, catering to up to 150 students in its first year, increasing to over 200 from 2025 onwards.
Findon Technical College will offer three industry training programs specialising in: Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering, Early Childhood Education and Care, and Health and Social Support.
We are seeking outstanding, enthusiastic teachers to join our innovative Technical College team in delivering our Industry Training Programs.
Why choose us and what will you do?
The first of 5 technical colleges, Findon will provide opportunities for students from years 10 to 12 to undertake specialist industry training programs. These programs focus on developing the skills and knowledge to step straight into the workforce, or to progress to an apprenticeship, traineeship, further training, or university pathway.
As a teacher in the technical college you will:
Deliver co-designed programs with industry partners within a specialisation to develop technical, employability and language, literacy and numeracy skills in simulated or real work environments.
Take an interdisciplinary approach that engages students in a range of applied learning and projectbased industry activities in the Australian Curriculum and the SACE.
Incorporate career planning and career development into the students learning to support students to make informed choices and navigate their future careers.
Collaborate and teach with colleagues and partners within an industry specialisation team to provide an impactful and supportive learning environment for students.
