This role operates as a member of the Business Performance and Technology team, reporting to the Head of Connected Planning and System Innovation.


The primary responsibilities for this role are:

  • Support the existing Anaplan platform use cases including support ticket resolution, as well as initiative prioritisation.
  • Conduct routine maintenance of platform including rollover activities, backup processes and user maintenance.
  • Identify areas of improvement and provide input into recommendations in terms of expanding the platform.
  • Work with internal stakeholders as well as external partners to develop and improve solutions.
  • Support testing, training and documentation activities for both new and existing use cases.
  • Provide support to the wider Business Performance and Technology team where required.

Key Accountabilities
The Connected Planning Analyst will support the Anaplan platform including both existing and new development, and as such their core accountabilities include:

Delivery of timely and proactive investigations, exploratory analysis, and continuous improvement activities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Anaplan platform.


  • Gather and define requirements for new use cases as identified by internal stakeholders including the review of the use cases and development of proofofconcept models.
  • Develop and manage user stories in work tracking platform (Azure DevOps) including appropriate acceptance criteria and testing requirements.
  • Author, review and update business process documents with key business stakeholders for new and existing models.
  • Design and maintain user experience dashboards in Anaplan UX and deliver training where required.
  • Ongoing role in the Anaplan Centre of Excellence.
  • Ongoing professional development and communication of Anaplan advancements and best practices as shared by the Anaplan community.
  • Involvement in initiatives, as required, that support the roll out of the Digital Strategy to drive a successful outcome and positive digital adoption across the business.

Key Capability Requirements
Essential

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Tertiary degree in a relevant field (Business, Finance, Property, Data, Computer Science)
  • Anaplan Model Builder Level 2 Certification
  • Understanding of ALM and model governance practices
  • Strong analytical mindset
  • Ability to proactively identify process risks and problem solve issues and find efficiencies
  • Able to work autonomously
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and ability to partner with business stakeholders
