This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Underwriter/ Portfolio Manager with a strong Property underwriting background.

Our client is a well-established and market leading specialist national Underwriting Agency with a strong presence and an excellent track record of delivering innovative solutions to their customers.

Key responsibilities:

As the National Underwriting Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with the performance of the portfolio through analysis, pricing, policy wording/ coverage and communicating the underwriting strategy out to the Underwriting team.

Developing and implementing underwriting strategies to maximize profitability while ensuring compliance with company guidelines and industry regulations.
Conducting portfolio analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Collaborating with key stakeholders to drive portfolio growth.
Monitoring and evaluating underwriting processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with brokers and clients.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Senior Underwriter/ Manager, ideally with portfolio analysis/ management experience.
Strong experience across Property insurance products, and indepth knowledge of underwriting principles, practices, and industry trends.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Resultsoriented mindset with a strong focus on achieving targets and driving business growth.
Relevant industry certifications and qualifications would be advantageous.
