MARS Recruitment are partnering with an innovative technology company who are looking for a Social Media Manager to join the team (newly created position).

Responsibilities:

A deep understanding of major social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, X ( formerly known as Twitter), LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube.
Proficiency in creating engaging and compelling content across different formats such as text, images, videos, and graphics tailored to each platform.
Ability to develop and execute social media strategies aligned with overall marketing objectives and target audience preferences.
Familiarity with social media analytics tools (e.g., Facebook Insights, Google Analytics, etc.) to track and analyze performance metrics, identify trends, and optimise strategies accordingly.

Criteria:

Experience in a social media role at an agency or in house
A deep understanding of major social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, X ( formerly known as Twitter), LinkedIn, TikTok.
Proficiency in creating engaging and compelling content across different formats such as text, images, videos, and graphics tailored to each platform.
Ability to develop and execute social media strategies aligned with overall marketing objectives and target audience preferences.
Familiarity with social media analytics tools (e.g., Facebook Insights, Google Analytics, etc.) to track and analyze performance metrics, identify trends, and optimise strategies accordingly.
Basic understanding and skills in content editing for multiple platforms and formats.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment
