The Asset Lead - Technology Solutions is part of the Technology Solutions Unit within the Infrastructure and Resources Division.

The division is an important part of Victoria's fire and emergency management arrangements, playing a key role in enabling DELWP to meet its emergency management responsibilities efficiently, effectively, and safely.

This position is responsible for the management of bushfire, emergency, and land management technology assets to meet the needs of the Forest, Fire and Regions Group (FFRG).

The Asset Lead for Technology Solutions will play a leading role in developing the FFRG Bushfire, Emergency and Land Management Technology Asset Strategy and roadmap and will develop and champion processes and systems to manage new and existing FFRG assets.

This position requires expert vendor management, procurement, project, and program management skills, as well as the ability to drive strategic outcomes through innovation, exceptional stakeholder engagement, and a sharp focus on accountability and governance.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • Experience in writing organisationwide management strategies.
  • A strong process background in a Business Analyst role would be beneficial
  • Experience in an Asset Management project or program is beneficial but not essential.
  • Experience in establishing systems and processes.
  • Experience in establishing, managing, and running Government governance structures, including preparing Executivelevel reports.
This is a fixed term position until 30 June 2023. The work location for this position is 8 Nicholson Street, East Melbourne.
