Western Health in partnership with Djerriwarrh Community & Education Services and SWC Training has opportunities available now to join our Patient Service Assistant traineeship program.
Successful applicants will need to complete a preparation program delivered by Djerriwarrh Community & Education Services which runs for 9 weeks in which time participants will complete a Certificate II in Community Services.
Following the preparation program participants may be offered a 12 month traineeship employment opportunity within the Health Support Services division at Western Health.
Many of the past participants who have gained and completed a traineeship have successfully applied for ongoing casual, part-time or fulltime employment within Western Health.
Persons who currently hold a Certificate III level qualification or above will not be eligible for the program.
