    Full-time -Fixed-term position

    About therole:

    We arecurrently seeking a Residential Care Coordinator to join our teamin Rockhampton. Our Coordinator will provide leadership anddirection for strong service delivery and participant outcomes. Thecoordinator will manage a team of staff ensuring that participantcare, assessment, support, and advocacy is of a highstandard.

    Whatwill a typical day look like?

    • Contribute to theimprovement of services for the best outcomes for youngpeople.
    • Assist with theestablishment and development of a strong and positive teamenvironment to ensure excellent communication between teammembers.
    • Ensure adequate andeffective staffing and scheduling of support for young peoplewithin budget and roster guidelines, including proactiveworkforce management.
    • Engage withstakeholders such as participants, relevant government agenciesand personnel, families, and the community to sustain effectiveand collaborative working relationships.
    • Support programstaff to gain and maintain a sound understanding of youngpeople's needs based on an understanding of trauma,grief, loss, attachment and child development.
    • Support programstaff to gain and maintain a sound understanding of the scopeand outcomes required for each service agreement.

    MandatoryRequirements:

    • Diploma or bachelorqualifications in Social Services/Child Protection or relateddiscipline.
    • Demonstratedexperience in coordination of supports for people with complexneeds.
    • Ability to obtain aBlue Card (working with children check positive notice orexemption)
    • Ability to obtain aYellow Card (disability services positive notice or exemptionnotice)
